New Territory

Here are new campuses that we are trusting the Lord for this coming season -- areas that you have impacted for the kingdom through your partnership with us.  Please prayerfully read through each area and lift up the laborers and future laborers and their needs to combat the enemy.

South Asia. The team is comprised of alumni and staff from the University of Washington.  A large part of my role here (at UW) is to release staff & students to dream and take notice of what God is putting on their heart to pursue.  For this UW staff family, God opened a door in their lives to pursue a dream of leading a team to South Asia to see what the Lord may do.  Through summer missions, small groups, & our leadership team, we have had the privilege of influencing each one of these teammates. Through your partnership with us and our move here to UW, God put these pieces strategically together so that this ministry in South Asia could happen.

UW Bothell.  There is a team of students and volunteers that are moving forward to trust God for the work in this location.  Brandon, a student, has ignited the churches around the campus to start this movement.  They have partnered with several pastors and volunteers to help meet the needs of students in this growing college.  This movement could set the tone for how many future colleges are reached for the kingdom.

The Cru ministry at Highline College (south of Seattle) has been operating for some time. There are key volunteers in the math department that have given roots to this movement. Please pray for Dusty and Charlene. We are trusting God for long term direction and student leaders to help with the ongoing needs of students, so they can hear the Gospel on this incredibly diverse campus.

North Seattle College is located near where we live in Seattle and we are trusting to see if God might raise up some students/faculty/staff/local church communities to start a local movement on this campus.

Eastern Oregon University has just officially launched its Cru movement this fall.
This was birthed through a good friend of ours, whom the Lord had been prompting for years to start something at EOU.  She noticed that there was no Christian presence at the school.  She identified that perhaps the Lord may want to do something through her.  After some prayer, encouragement and pooling of resources in the area, this is where we are!  Praise God.

Below is a cross section of this year’s student leaders and staff team at University of Washington. We are extremely excited to trust God for what He wants to do at UW.  Pray for wisdom as we try to go into new areas of the campus.  We are trusting God for students involved in greek life, military, commuting, and other areas that aren’t clear yet.

Perhaps you know of a campus or any community near you that God has put on your heart or even a burden for.  Perhaps you know someone that would be encouraged to be invited to start a Cru movement. We would love to help you get started or give you resources to start that.  We believe that everyone in God’s kingdom has been entrusted with the ability to increase His kingdom. We would love to help equip you or your church with resources to do that.  Love partnering with you in these new areas for Christ!
